Håkan Hellström live at Scandinavium

I’ve been sitting here editing photos from yesterday’s concert at #Scandinavium, while also reliving many of the impressions in my head. This was only the second time I’ve had the pleasure of seeing #HåkanHellström #live. The first time was in rainy Slottsskogen, and I ended up giving up when the rain got worse and he took a bit of an artistic pause with 45 minutes left of the show. That time, the camera stayed tucked away under a rain cover—but yesterday it was put to good use, and I came away with a whole bunch of shots I’d love to share!

If I hadn’t been so persistently watched by a slightly overzealous staff member, I probably would have captured even more shots of the stage. Luckily, Håkan and the band often walked out onto the AC/DC-inspired runway stretching into the sea of the crowd, and they spent quite a bit of time there in the spotlight—so I fired away like there was no tomorrow. I suppose I should just be grateful she didn’t take my camera away, which, by the way, feels like a ridiculously outdated rule that’s long overdue to be scrapped 🙏👍
